A day with Payton

Last Sunday Payton wanted to borrow my Scriptures for her Primary Class. She was singing Scripture Power and needed her own scriptures. On Thursday I picked her up from Pre-School and off to the Church Book Store we went.

It was just about lunch time and we decided to stop by TCBY for a treat!
Vanilla Yogurt with mini M&M's and mini Gummies!
We took a walk outside and look who followed us....4 Ducks and 1 Swan

Closer and Closer, This little girl loves animals and isn't afraid a bit!

I thought they were getting a little too close.

I told her they must like ice-cream too. She looked around and ended up just
throwing the ice-cream down so they would eat it.

Eat it they did ! All together !

We had a nice day, She loved seeing the temple .

I heard the Primary is having a Temple trip soon
Payton will be very excited to go.


I am so thankful to each primary teacher/leader /music leader that teach
these precious little Children.

A Day with Jayden Parker

Grandma's Boy wanted to see the movie How to train your Dragon.
He got to my house ready to go .
He had his dragon and his Buzz Boots.

One pack of Snow Caps (mommy's favorite)
One Blue Icee (his favoirte Color) He was ready to go!

We were the only ones in the movie theater.

He watched the whole movie. What a big boy!

As we were leaving the theater look what he found! He was spechless!

Sailing

Fun! Fun!Fun!

We went to Jacksonville to spend the day with my brother Craig and

his wife (my friend)Terri on their new Sailboat.

We had the most relaxing time.

I love Sailing! So Fun! Big or little sailboats, I love it!

I can't make a real big deal about it...if you know Rick he'll think I want one .

Craig and Terri both like to read and spend time together.

They can spend the whole weekend on the water. How peaceful
Somehow I don't think it would be the same for us " Quite" is not in Rick or Natalie's vocabulary!

Terri know how to sail and even park this big boat!!! Way to go Aunt Terri!She takes her job very seriously and she 's good at it!

My brother is nice. Some people think I'm nice but...... he is the good one! He doesn't put himself first very often . He is sooooooooo practical

I'm happy he finally went ahead and got something he always wanted. They named their boat "Its all Good" and explained why they named it that.

Beautiful story.

I'm happy they have found something they enjoy together.

candles

Natalie & I were at the condo and it rained and rained .....

We decided to make candle's!
We looked it up online and thought soy candles would be best!This was really fun and easy too!
We tried different sizes and fragrances!
the only tip I would share... You need to have the wick a little
longer so you can wrap it around something like

a pencil to hold in straight.Some were better than others .... we need a little practice
But so much cheaper than buying them .

This one smells like cake and has jellybeans in the bottom.
We had fun doing this together and want to make more soon.

I love candles and we use them often.

It was so easy & fun
I think we will make a few dozen to go with our food storage &

emergency supplies.

Easter Party

We decided it was time for some fun in the sun

Payton gave the octopus a sand bath.

Then we all piled up to go to the park to look for eggs

It was so nice of Haily, Anna & Natalie to go to the park and hide the eggs.

We had the whole park to ourselves

lots & lots of eggs to find.

I guess this is better than taking turns...

Payton was so into finding eggs!

Missy is watching Britton because ...... you never know what he may try to eat!!!

Some had more fun than others... She will be back to herself in about 2 more weeks!

Katelyn's Baby Shower

Macie had fun helping her Mommy open the gifts. She just didn't want to take pictures. Plenty of good food to go with the good friends that were able to come. I am very grateful to everyone that could come to Katelyn's shower. Sometimes.... I worry that we are having Wedding after Wedding and now baby after baby. I caution the girls about inviting to many people. So they shorten their list and some feelings were hurt.... All my fault!!!


Money is allot tighter now, things are so much harder for so many people.


My point is I appreciate the effort and kindness and never never would think of hurting any ones feelings .

Science Project

Science Project: Can a egg bounce?
One fresh egg, clear container and white vinegar.

This is what her egg looked like after about 48 hours. This is actually the second egg.

She couldn't wait and tried to bounce it too early!

Does it bounce? Yes !
