Surgery

Natalie had surgery on her nose at Arnold Palmer's Children's Hospital.
She had blockage on both sides of her nose.
The doctor was surprise just how much blockage there was. He said he wouldn't be surprised if she stops breathing several times during the night.
He said after the swelling goes down she should breath much much better!
She is such a trooper, didn't like this IV at all. Then the nurse said she was going to give her some happy juice and within two minutes this is all she could do. She made me laugh too!
The surgery took about 40 min. Rick was there with a cute bear.
I thought maybe she was too old for a teddy but... he knew best!

Very quiet and little swelling we were on our way home. Happy all went well and this is behind us. She asked the doctor when she could play tennis . He said 4 days. Not bad at all!

Thanksgiving 2010

Things that I'm thankful for this year would include... A daughter and daughter-in -laws that value motherhood. Little eyes squeezed extra tight during prayers. Small argument's among the grandchildren about who gets to say the prayer! Sons that let me believe they still need me and always make me feel loved. A brand new baby and the wonder of birth. A daughter that still looks for the wishbone in the Turkey.
My Sweet husband that makes preparing Thanksgiving Dinner much easier and still wants to hold my hand in a movie.
This is a time of year I pause and count every single blessing in my life. Natalie taking a break to watch the Macy's Parade. I told Rick we should really try to go next year! I've wanted to take Natalie to NY for a long time now. Just about ready!
Thankful for Rick's sweet Mom & Dad
So Sweet!
If they eat good they can go on the golf cart with Pa Pa!

Rhea took some time to rock her baby Landon!

Missy took a turn with baby Landon too!
This is what you do after a big Thanksgiving Day Dinner in Florida!

Beautiful

I just can't believe all the blooms this plant has... simply beautiful!

Uncle Craig

Since Dad was here visiting we thought we would go to Jacksonville and go sailing with Craig.

The only day we could go was Saturday and it was Cooold!!!
Natalie decided to go under and have a Pepsi .
I never like her to have soda but..
I let her make the choice and of course she choose Pepsi over water!
Craig let Dad have a go at steering the boat!
What a good job he did! We had a great time.
Only a little fall when Dad missed a step. Nurse Linda took care of the boo boo!

We all love to Sail. Natalie thinks its very cool to take the dogs!

He said she needs to have the surgery. She is scheduled for 8:30 on November 29th at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando. The procedure will be done as a outpatient.
She will be down for a 4 -5 days

Britton Craig Wise 2 years old!

Britton had orange frosted cookies at Pre-School to celebrate his 2nd Birthday! It was fun to see Britton and Alex at school. I must say they were the cutest little boys in the class! With all the toys and fun guess what was the only thing they wanted to do????

Go home with Grandma!! All these little ones sure make me feel loved.
Britton looks very serious . He is not sure what the deal is.

He is looking more and more like his daddy!

Mom

My mother had surgery to have her Thyroid removed.

This is a picture just 4 days later.I was very worried because they asked me if I wanted her to have this surgery.

Every time she would eat or drink she would choke.

Daily life was getting so difficult. The size of the growth on her Thyroid was very large.

I decided she should have it done and all went very well.

I see her getting a little stronger and happier each day!

Pumpkins

Natalie and Rick with there anual pumkin carving activity! I don't like this part ... such a mess but .. they seem to enjoy it!
Wow! Job well done!

trunk or treat

Natalie loved the Movie Avatar! So when she decided to dress up for the trunk or treat is was easy to choose what she would be. I think she looks Great. If there had been a contest she just might have won.

The church had a trunk or treat on Friday night. We had a great time. This is Britton Wise (Dennis the Menace)

Alex love hanging out with Pa Pa!
So fun walking the kids around. Alex kept coming back for more.

Macie was not so sure, I had to hold her bag and by this time the boys took off their costumes.
Batman Robin and Avatar!
