Jayden Parker 3 years old/ 4th of July

Jayden Parker watching the fireworks at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando .
(he thought this was all for him) He knows he's special!
Its so hard to believe Jayden is 3 years old. Well.... actually he has acted 3 for a long time now.
Time just flies..... This is the little baby we prayed so hard for. He sure was cute that night he was born with his
little red,white and blue hat.
Funny how quick we forget....
Anyone remember Rhea & Geoffrey
having a hard time getting pregnant????

best fireworks ever!
Jonathon and Missy, taking a minute to watch the fireworks .
Never ever do you see them with a free moment.
But... they know where the boy is....

Locked in his stroller!!!! and for a good reason.
He would have walked right into the Lake.
Fearless!!! Don't let that innocent look fool you.

our self portrait! (I really need some rest) Geoffrey and Rhea had a great time.
They even had a slice of cake with a big "3" on it for
Jayden just as the
fireworks started, his mommy doesn't miss anything!

Alex liked the noise and the fireworks.

Siesta Key

I had never been to Siesta Key Beach. Siesta Key Beach is voted one of the top 5 beaches in the country. Ive always wanted to go we have been to Longboat Key which is near Siesta but not for a really long time. Siesta Beach is very very pretty. The sand is WHITE and so soft.
The only problem was the weather. Just as we pulled up to the beach it started to rain!
Siesta Key is just about 3 hours away. So.....we decided
to go see a movie and see if the weather got better.
Hannah and Natalie wanted to see the movie Eclipse. They loved it!
The weather looked a little better when we got out. We decided to give it a try. I had heard that the water at siesta key beach was super clear so we brought all our snorkeling stuff.

As we were walking down to the beach Rick quietly said. " I don't see anyone snorkeling Linda and I don't think anyone will be either" Needless to say we didn't snorkel .
It never got sunny but the ocean was fun anyway. The water was just beautiful.
very very clear. I don't know how everyone else feels but I like the fact
I can see whats in the water with me. Natalie's feet

Hannah's feet

Hannah and her Grandpa
Natalie & Hannah didn't mind the ride at all! Yea!!! for I-pods!!!!

Girls Camp 2010

Camp Directors : Sis Braun and Sis Saunders Sister Wise and her baby bump!
I was so happy to see her.

The Y C L 's were the ones that ran camp this year.
I think it made it so much better.
The Eustis girls did all they could to fulfill
their responsibilities.
Good Job !

Girls Camp 2010

What is Girls Camp???

Camp is an outdoor experience for
young women ages 12 to 18.

It gives young women opportunities to:
Draw closer to Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ
Feel the influence of the Spirit.
Serve others.
Build friendships and unity
Learn skills.
Appreciate God's creations.

Eustis Young Women ready to go to Camp!
(well most of them)

This year the Young Women President of the Eustis Ward was out of town.

President Carter allowed me this extra blessing.
I had the privilege of being their leader for the week.

These girls are great! I'm very lucky to have gotten to know them better!
All 18 of them. They sure don't need much sleep.... so fun!

This is a picture of the Stake Young Women leaders, These are the sweet women I serve with. Sis Hawkins did a great job of creating a environment for the girls to accomplish all the things camp is meant to do.
I was having some allergy issues on Tues a.m. Megan gave me some non-drowsy medicine. Only... I was very very drowsy... I felt like a Young women hiding from her leader. I was looking for a place to rest my head, or really just lean my head..but.... I'd see Sis Hunter coming my way and think "Oh no she saw me". She always saw me and with her arm around me we went off to serve. I love this lady who never ever gets tired . Anyway , as always the spirit teaches and we end up having a wonderful camp experience. This is so out of my comfort zone. I was in a skit, sang, danced, shot a gun, dried tears, walked to the bathroom at 3:oo a.m. (right before the bears ) I slept on a air mattress that
deflated each night at 4:00
but i did not and will not ever eat a minnow!

If an award was given for the 3 most excited Beehives , these 3 would win.

always front and center of the activities. I love Beehives!! Beehives love Girls Camp
Another name for these 3 ... 1st years

Natalie can't wait until next year!

A New Horse

Natalie went to Horse Camp and while she was there she tried out a new horse. This is Joey and the best thing about him is he is a free lease!

Natalie had a great week. Karen is the trainer and was really happy with the progress she made . She told me that Natalie was a much better rider than she thought she was.
This horse works well with her.

They make a good fit. She is going to work with him all summer and show in the fall.

This horse isn't a play horse. Joey is not like spot-me who she would jump on bare back.

She will have to work hard . Be very respectful to him. Joey is 16 1/2 hands.
The funny thing is, that we knew the owner. It is Aimee's brother in law Robert!!!
Small world!
I still love spot-me. I know she is a hard head and has a grass belly but she has been a good horse. We'll find her a good home. For now she is at Kelly's barn just hanging out eating grass. Her favorite thing to do! I'd ride her myself but...... I'd rather play tennis!

The Ginn Resort

We love going to this Resort. It is so perfect for our family. Each year they always have a summer special . This year it was buy one night get one free. Its hard to find a place where everyone is together ...but... has there own space. At the Ginn we each have our own bedroom when someone needs a nap..
One pool has a big slide, the other a sandy bottom and a lazy river.
The beach is beautiful and there is so much grass and open space to play and run.
If you haven't been here I would strongly recommend it. This year just the girls went.
I sure felt loved. When I got into the pool ALL the kids wanted Grandma! Its great unless they all jump at the same time. What a joy to be a mother/ grandmother.. I did feel the love, bruises will fade memories won't.

Rhea and her big fish! See that big smile on Macie's face ?
Before she jumps she says"NO UNDER" about 3 times before getting the nerve to jump.
I have the best camera. It is so durable and takes very cool underwater pictures. I have never ever seen a child just jump in the water and go straight down, come up a few times for breathes and not be even a little afraid. Just hangs out until after about 5 bobs Missy grabs him. So funny!

Just look at that face! Loves the water!

Payton would yell "Apple Tootles"
and jump in! I'm not sure where she got that from but she sure thought it was funny!

New Braces! Very pretty!

See what I mean .... very cool pictures!

Ice Cream for everyone! All is well......until.....the big fall

Look Rick! Missy is working even on Vacation!

Merrik's Blessing

Michael gave Merrik the most beautiful blessing .

After church Katelyn had us all over for a very yummy brunch!
