We decided to rent a boat for the day and spend some time on lake Seneca! You may wonder why we would do this since we live in

Lake county Florida ....

But..... The finger lakes are beautiful.. refreshing cool, no speed limits and NO GATORS!!

Watkins Glen is said to be the Grand Canyon of the East Coast!

We saw the most beautiful waterfalls , bridges ,
steep cliffs and huge trees.

I wish you could have seen Natalie's face when she saw this Amish family.

I had told her we would go to a Amish
community during our trip Ohio.

She didn't expect to see them here.

She was totally fascinated!

After a while of walking straight up we couldn't help think of a few friends that were hiking 6 miles each day . I don't think I am in great shape but not bad either. After about 1 mile straight up I thought there is no way I can go any further... Again we thought about the scouts. They were continually in our prayers.

We really enjoyed this part of the trip!
I 'm glad we took the time to do this.

The Sacred Grove

Hill Cumorah Pageant

The Hill Cumorah Pageant is a testimony that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. This pageant portrays ten stories from the scriptures. There are over 800 cast and crew members .The script for the pageant is taken from the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
This Pageant has been held for 70 years!

In all those years the show has only cancelled 3 times! This picture was taken as we were walking in.
All the cast members were walking around greeting the guests.

We were so excited to see the Berge Family! It just makes it a little

more special to share this experience with friends.

Bling Girls

Natalie has been working for Bling Spirit Glitter Make-up for about 1 year now. She fills glitters and types packing lists along with anything else Ms Krystal needs. Hannah has been filling in for Natalie while she was at horse camp. Hannah has been doing a GREAT job!!

Hannah and Natalie tried out some new make-up and took a few silly pictures.
I think they'll look back and have a good laugh at these!!

Its so hard to believe Jayden is 3 years old. Well.... actually he has acted 3 for a long time now.

Siesta Key

I had never been to Siesta Key Beach. Siesta Key Beach is voted one of the top 5 beaches in the country. Ive always wanted to go we have been to Longboat Key which is near Siesta but not for a really long time. Siesta Beach is very very pretty. The sand is WHITE and so soft.
The only problem was the weather. Just as we pulled up to the beach it started to rain!

Siesta Key is just about 3 hours away. So.....we decided

to go see a movie and see if the weather got better.

Hannah and Natalie wanted to see the movie Eclipse. They loved it!
The weather looked a little better when we got out. We decided to give it a try. I had heard that the water at siesta key beach was super clear so we brought all our snorkeling stuff.
As we were walking down to the beach Rick quietly said. " I don't see anyone snorkeling Linda and I don't think anyone will be either" Needless to say we didn't snorkel .

It never got sunny but the ocean was fun anyway. The water was just beautiful.
